This is a blog for my project. ” The Evolution of Music Marketing.” The project is a term project for the class “Evolution and trends in digital media.” in MCDM program at the University of Washington.

In the project, I discussed the past, present and the future of music marketing. Music labels used radio and MTV to boradcast and promote their new music in the past. Now the Internet helps them to reach their customers more directly. In the future, music labels will rely on social media and mobile more to communicate with the music fans.
